Annette Marcuzzi

BScPT, MHSc, CHE

Annette Marcuzzi is a lecturer at the University of Toronto, Department of Physical Therapy, Temerty Faculty of Medicine. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy and a Master’s of Health Science, Health Administration, both from the University of Toronto. She is a Certified Health Executive through the Canadian College of Health Leaders.

Annette is an independent healthcare consultant with clinical, management and health system planning experience in government agencies and practice settings across the continuum of care. Annette is also a board member of various non-profit organizations including the Ontario Physiotherapy Association.

Teaching

Annette teaches the Physical Therapy Context and Practice theme (integrated across the MScPT curriculum) of the renewed MScPT program in the Department of Physical Therapy.

The PT Context and Practice theme’s key areas of focus include:

  • Physiotherapy Roles, Practice, and Professionalism
  • Health Care System
  • Care Settings and Models
  • Legislation, Standards and Quality.

Annette is also an instructor for the online modular course Physiotherapy Practice within the Canadian Health Care Context in the Ontario Internationally Educated Physiotherapist Bridging Program.
