Alumni & Friends

As part of U of T’s Faculty of Medicine, the Department of Physical Therapy’s students have access to the most extensive network of academic clinical centres and community organizations available in North America, as well as state of the art teaching and research facilities. With your support, we will continue to achieve excellence and produce innovative professionals and academic leaders who are advancing the practice and science of physical therapy that aids rehabilitation science and improves the health and well-being of individuals, families, workplaces, and communities across the world.

  • Temerty Medicine Connect: Connect, collaborate, and contribute to the Temerty Faculty of Medicine community and the graduate student experience.

  • Department of Physical Therapy Fund Donation: If you would like to support the department, you can make a donation. This fund is used to support students through bursaries and scholarships, fund travel for national and international conferences and clinical placements, and renew clinical equipment for teaching.

The Department of Physical Therapy is creating a new configuration which aligns Physical Therapy Alumni who are graduates from the Dip PT, Dip P&OT, BSc PT, MScPT and from the Ontario Internationally Educated Physiotherapy Bridging (OIEPB) Programs with the “Friends” of the Department. Our changing structure is designed to ensure that all physical therapists and like-minded others are welcomed into our U of T Physical Therapy Community locally, nationally, and internationally.

When we continue to learn, interact and practice together we create a robust community!
