The Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto is seeking clinician volunteers to help us mark our Computer Administered Profile (CAP) admissions test.

Approximately 750 of our top applicants will write the CAP, a two-hour exam which represents the non-academic portion of our admission process. The CAP is designed to assess personal characteristics/attributes, life experiences, knowledge of the profession, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

The scores of the CAP exam are used in part to determine who will be offered admission to the program. The input of clinicians is very important to the department and therefore we need your help to score these exams.

Marking guidelines will be provided to all clinicians who are selected as readers. Marking will take place online this year.

We will email CAP packages and marking guidelines to readers on the afternoon of Monday, April 20, 2026 and scores will be due by Sunday, April 26, 2026.

Please sign up by completing our online registration form. The CAP Reader Confidentiality Agreement is part of our online registration form therefore, you cannot sign up via email.

Thank you for your interest in marking CAPs!
