Lisa Caldana is a Registered Physiotherapist and the Academic Co-lead of Clinical Education in the department of Physical Therapy. She has also worked within the Ontario Internationally Educated Physical Therapy Bridging program as a Clinical Practice Facilitator.
Lisa has worked as a physiotherapist in a variety of clinical and administrative practice areas across the continuum of care. She completed the Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Arthritis Care program in 2018 and is currently completing a Masters of Health Sciences degree in Translational Research at the University of Toronto.
Lisa’s research interests include exploring the use of advanced practice physiotherapy roles in arthritis care, in addition to using innovative care models to improve access to healthcare service delivery. Her masters research project is focused on improving the experience of healthcare providers, caregivers, and youth who wear ankle foot orthoses to access appropriate footwear.
