Congratulations to Prof. Jay Shaw

Please join me in congratulating Prof. Jay Shaw as our new Canada Research Chair in Responsible Health Innovation. Through the Canada Research Chair in Responsible Health Innovation, Dr. Shaw will strengthen community-based care for communities marginalized by social and economic circumstances by building socially responsible strategies of health innovation. To accomplish this goal, Dr. Shaw will aim to: (1) build on the concept of Responsible Innovation to develop service innovations that strengthen health care for structurally marginalized communities; (2) identify priorities in the design and delivery of community-based care to best meet the needs of adults and older adults living with low income and complex co-morbidities; and (3) design and implement digital health innovations that address care needs of the same population
