Short Bio:
Dr. Harley Moseley III is a physiatrist. He is a proud graduate of the University of the West Indies MB, BS Degree Programme. He also trained at the University of Dentistry and Medicine, New Jersey (UMDNJ)/ Rutgers, the JFK Johnson Physical Medicine, and Rehabilitation Program. In 2006, after completing his Residency, he returned to his home island of Barbados. He used his position as the first physiatrist in the Anglo-Caribbean Community to establish and augment the island’s existing rehabilitation systems. This includes the Anglo-Caribbean Community’s only full-service Amputee Clinic. He also initiated multidisciplinary stroke team care, later co-founding one of the region’s only Stroke Units in the island of Barbados. He is Medical Director of the only Department of Rehabilitation in the island; Medical Director of the Amputee Clinic; Co-Medical Director of the Stroke Unit. He is responsible for in-patient and outpatient care. Dr. Moseley has continued to work tirelessly as the only physiatrist in the island to meet the growing rehabilitation needs of Barbados’ aging population.
